Drexel Design Charrette uses People, Place and Space Reader as Resource

The Architecture, Design and Urbanism program at Drexel University hosted the renowned design firm Snohetta for a weekend-long design charrette involving 65 students from a variety of disciplines. They looked at a series of sites surrounding the university, met with local residents, and made a number of design proposals intended to support and enhance the local community. The students relied on publications from the Project for Public Spaces, Tactical Urbanism, and The People, Place and Space Reader to shape discussions and inform their designs. For more information see the charrette website.
